Wes Clark Jr. is a veteran, writer, and project manager for renewable energy. He is a graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. He served as a scout platoon leader and troop executive officer in 2-7 Cavalry and a squadron maintenance officer in 1-10 Cavalry. Since leaving the service, he has worked as a creative executive, screenwriter, consultant, temp, wind energy project manager, math tutor, novelist, advertiser, pundit, and body armor salesman. In 2016 he organized and lead a non-violent veterans’ protest at Standing Rock Tribal Reservation in defense of the constitution’s supremacy clause against the Dakota Access Pipeline that mustered 4000 vets in the dead of winter to prevent an assault on tribal lands by multiple private military companies. He has a wife, kids, a pack of dogs, and two cockatiels.
