Jane Stricker is part of the bp team that focuses on helping countries, cities, and corporations around the world decarbonize. She has accountability for building and maintaining strong relationships with partner cities and corporations. Prior to this role, Jane directed bp’s development and delivery of the 2019 National Petroleum Council study on Carbon Capture, Use and Storage in coordination with the U.S. Department of Energy.
In her 20+ year career with bp, Jane has held a variety of roles across the company, including retail offer development, corporate finance and governance, regulatory compliance, and project management. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from Loyola University, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from University of Maryland.
Jane is an Advisory Board member for the Energy Industries Council 2021 Connect Energy USA, a member of the Women’s Council on Energy and the Environment, Contributing Faculty for the University of Houston’s Sustainable Energy Development Program, and a 2020 graduate of the Center for Houston’s Future Business/Civic Leadership Forum. She also serves on the board of the Greater Houston Cycling Foundation.
