Steffen Bixby is a Vice President and the Head of U.S. Climate Analytics at ISS ESG. He and his team work closely with institutional investors on assessing their portfolio's carbon footprint and climate-related risk across all asset classes. Steffen also serves on the Net Zero Endowments Initiative's Steering Committee. Before joining ISS, he was JUST Capital's Director of Quantitative Research and led a team of ESG analysts. He also worked as a consultant with Bain & Company. Steffen is a published climate scientist and economist by training and received his PhD from Columbia University. He holds further degrees from Columbia University, the London School of Economics, and ETH Zurich.
