Kevin Wetherington is the Chief HSE, Security & Quality Officer for Baker Hughes. Previously, he served as President, North America Region for BHGE. Prior to the creation of BHGE, he served as Vice President, Gulf of Mexico and Vice President, North America Land for Baker Hughes Incorporated.
Wetherington has 28 years of oil and gas industry experience, beginning as a field engineer in the Gulf of Mexico. He has spent his entire career with major oilfield service companies, mostly leading North America-based businesses. In his current role, he is responsible for leading teams who create, implement, and verify the standards for HSE, security and quality performance across the enterprise.
Wetherington is a past Board Member of the Center for Offshore Safety, with time spent working with the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement. He is also a past Board Member of the Colorado Oil & Gas Association. Wetherington holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Florida.
